Policies

1. Editorial Policy

The journal maintains absolute independence in editorial decision-making. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based on their scientific merit, originality, and methodological soundness, without regard to the authors' race, nationality, or political affiliations. The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board oversee the quality of publication and ensure a transparent and fair review process.

2. Open Access Policy

AUJARS is a fully Open Access journal, meaning all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition.

3. Peer Review Policy

The journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts to ensure scientific rigor, objectivity, and quality before a final decision of acceptance or rejection is made.

4. Copyright Policy

Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights of their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work, provided the original work is properly cited and its first publication in this journal is acknowledged.

5. Authorship Policy

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission for publication.

6. Self-Archiving Policy

The journal encourages authors to archive the accepted versions of their research (pre-print and post-print) in their institutional repositories or personal websites. However, authors must provide a clear link to the original published version on the official AUJARS website.

7. Plagiarism Policy

AUJARS maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using global software (such as iThenticate or Turnitin). Manuscripts will be immediately rejected if the similarity index exceeds the acceptable international threshold (generally below 20%) or if any form of academic dishonesty is detected.

8. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships with individuals or organizations that could be perceived as inappropriately influencing the research results. Reviewers are also required to recuse themselves if a conflict of interest exists with the authors.

9. Data Sharing Policy

To promote transparency and reproducibility, the journal encourages authors to share the datasets and materials supporting their research findings. Authors may include data as supplementary files or provide links to open data repositories.

10. Publication Ethics and Malpractice

The journal is committed to the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). In cases of proven malpractice (such as data fabrication or manipulation), the journal will take necessary actions, including retracting the published work, notifying the author's institution, and banning the author from future submissions.

11. AI Usage Policy

The use of Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is permitted only as a supportive tool for drafting or linguistic editing. Authors must clearly disclose the use of AI in the methodology or acknowledgments section. AI cannot be listed as a "Co-author," and the human author remains solely responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the work.
